Over the past several weeks, I have been posting my professional opinions on where commercial real estate leases are headed and doling out advice as to how to deal with your landlord. In one week it will be two full months since Governor Newsom issued statewide stay at home orders. Now government officials are beginning to talk about a very careful reopening of the
government. But the hobbling of the economy will not be reversed overnight. Nobody is arguing this point.
The ”New Normal” is what we make it collectively. It is not up to government officials. It is about how we conduct our lives when we emerge from the stay at home order.
So now I would like to hear from you. Share with me one way your work pattern has changed that will continue long after you are free to go to the office or your warehouse or retail shop. Perhaps it is something you want everyone to do that will make our work life more productive and efficient. You can also complain about some new remote work trends that
you think are ridiculous or just don’t work.
